There are various levels of involvement with the tradition and we welcome all friends and supporters. We also welcome the chance to meet with people who feel a sincere spiritual longing. Our tradition is composed of many layers of disciples and disciplines. Some people just rely upon the grace of Guruji and the tradition and encounter the tradition as a source of inspiration. Others take initiation and become lay practitioners who are devoted to Guru and their mantra. These people may also be instructed in various forms of meditative inquiry and contemplation. And some feel the desire to follow the path of more intense sadhana and become sadhaks. It is certainly the case that one form of involvement may blossom into another as the person grows and feels greater resonance with the path. The Tantra Vidya program offered is a special arrangement whereby one can receive advanced instruction and learn the ways of sadhana and then have the tools to be a sadhak. It is not the only form of interaction available, and would be suitable for those who are more serious and committed to the life of sadhana and this tradition. While there are all kinds of information available nowadays about certain mantras and sadhanas, these things are often not empowered until they are received from a living current. Moreover, apart from the practicalities of a certain sadhana, the tradition represents a flow of blessings and the Tantric Guru moves the sadhak in subtle, yet profound ways. One who is moved to follow this course may visit Shri Kapalik Mahakaal Bhairavanand Saraswati at his Ashram or visit with Kaal Ugranand Saraswati. Because of the time and investment for this particular program and the very real practical concerns of life, there is a minimum Dakshina requirement for these particular programs. In other forms of interaction, any Dakshina is strictly up to the student, their means, and generosity. There are no Dakshina requirements for future interaction after this program, and any action would be in accord with the students desire.
